The Casual Artscast 011

Recorded at the Ostbahnhof (East Train Station) in Berlin:

He gots to get paid.

Platform number 2 at the Berlin Ostbahnhof

November 2005

In the final minutes of my trip to the German capital, I whipped out the minidisc recorder and the Funk Doc started singin' the blues.

See, he needs a job or else he's going to have to head back to the States...and nobody wants that.

Questions to consider:

  • Are people more creative when they're unemployed?
  • What's so terrible about food stamps?
  • Why did Curtis Mayfield sing in such a high voice when we know he had a normal speaking voice?
  • Anybody got some odd jobs for the Funk Doc?

Germans love us.

The Funk Doc rushed for a total of 95 yards during the recording of The Casual Artscast #11: a personal best.
