The Casual Artscast 013

A chat about music in a fine Berlin café:

We don't know jack about music. So please listen to us talk about music.

Ahh, the European Café

November 2005

Friedrichshain has been the setting for several Artscasts now. It's a trendy little district of Berlin with plenty of artists, record stores, Sudanese restaurants, and, of course, cafés where you can get cheap, strong coffee.

Maybe we were feeling a bit lazy, but we decided to foreground what is usually secondary (but obviously extremely important) in previous shows: the fine music we play.

Obviously we were in bad moods too since the people at the next table really bugged us with their incessant use of unecessary English.

Check the show for more details. Was that too harsh?

Good coffee for less than a euro.

Chess-playing French dudes.

Actually, since the show was more about the music than the chat there isn't much to say.

However if you have something to say about this or any episode, visit the brand new

Feel free to leave comments, correct us if we're wrong, answer some of the questions posted in the forum or whatever...
